Our Mission

We strive to provide a positive comfortable experience for each and every person we photograph regardless their age, physical appearance, or status.

CLASSIC PHOTOGRAPHY was established in 1982 and is owned and operated by Tom and Joyce Schulke. Joyce is an experienced portrait photographer and has met the strict qualifications to become a Certified Photographer and PPA Master of Photography. She has received numerous local, state, and national awards. Her enthusiasm, sincerity, and true desire to create a lasting portrait of you, can be found in very few photographic artists today. Her careful blend of psychology, art, and photographic technique give her works a very special style, which has become recognized at the "Classic Look".
Tom's magic as our computer artist has expanded our styles and pleased many a client. His work as general manager is behind the scenes, but his playful spirit makes even the ordering process fun and without pressure. He is also a photographer and assists in much of the planning and photography of families and sporting events. He uses his talents in many different ways around the studio.
Lori Verhalen wears many hats. Her talents are seen in her creative approach as a photographer of our special promotions throughout the fall and spring months. She has added a fresh style to what Classic offers in portraiture. In the summer, she is there to greet you and help you feel that Classic is your home away from home. She also takes care of the behind the scenes work of getting everything ready for viewing and ordering.
